Congratulations to Sarah, as she gets two songs in to the Triple J Hottest 100 of 2009. We Won't Run at 28 and All I Want at 29.

Dramatico have announced the launch dates for Sarah's album and the first single:

We Won't Run, 22 March
As Day Follows Night, 5 April

We have not confirmed yet if this means We Won't Run will have a physical release, but watch this space.

Sarah has been confirmed as playing as part of the Les Femmes S'en Mêlent festival in France in a few months time. The festival is an annual indie music event that celebrates women in music. For more information, check out the lfsm website.

This Friday 4th Dec, Sarah will be performing live on TripleJ as part of Robbie Buck's farewell show. Tune in between 6am-9am.

Sarah wins an ARIA! Congratulations to Sarah on winning the ARIA award for best female artist. I think it was a well deserved win for our Sarah and I'm sure there are more awards in the future.

As part of the 2010 Sydney Festival, Sarah Blasko is performing at the event "Rouge's Gallery", where a bunch of fantastic guest performers come to sing Pirate ballads and sea shanties!

List of performers include: Sarah Blasko, Katy Steele (little birdie), Marianne Faithful, Glen Ritchards (Augie March) and heaps of others with more to be announced.

Sarah Blasko has been nominated in multiple catagories for the SMAC (Sydney Music Arts and Culture) awards. The SMAC awards are run by Time out Sydney and the fantastic community radio station FBi.

Best Live Act
Record of the Year
Best Sydney Song for "We won't run".

Anyone noticing the camera's at the recent Enmore Theatre show will be pleased to know that it was for a show that is going to be broadcast on JTV on the ABC, 30th November. It's also going to be played as part of the Live at the Wireless series at some point in the future.

The video for All I Want has been nominated for an Inside Film Award. You can vote for the video if you are registered on the site by going to the IF Awards Website, clicking the 'Rate It' button for all I want and selecting the score you want.

A fantastic recording of Sarah's recent UK show at the Borderline in London has been sent to me. It is available in the Media section and is a superb showcase of Sarah's live talents. A great taster for all those of you who have tickets for the upcoming Australian Tour.

With only three weeks since it's release and 'As Day Follows Night' has already gone Gold. With gold requiring 35,000 copies sold, it's clearly being a big hit with old and new fans alike.

As Day Follows night has entered the ARIA Australia Chart at number two this week, which is fantastic news and a well deserved placing. The album went in at position 5 overall.

For anyone wanting the lyrics for the album, myself along with one or two on the forum have been transcribing them as best we can. We've come up with what we think are a pretty accurate set of lyrics, which can be found in the discography section above. Many Thanks to Laura for her help with this.

Triple J have chosen As Day Follows Night to be the featured album of the week for this coming week. Sarah will be appearing on the station tomorrow at 7:30am to chat about it.

There have been a couple of amendments to the upcoming shows. I've removed the incorrect Perth shows and added two new dates. One of these is for a show in Queensland, the other in Stockholm!
