What a strange write up.
Australian song bird Sarah Blasko is known for her signature vintage style. After fronting Sydney band Acquiesce from the mid-90s, she decided to concentrate on her solo career releasing her debut EP Prelusive in 2002. In 2007 her album What the Sea Wants the Sea Will Have won Best Pop Release at the ARIAs and her 2009 release As Day Follows Night earned her the Triple J album of the year and ARIAs Best Female Artist awards.

Yeah I searched the forum for Acquiesce and saw those two songs for download... I feel like I'm so far behind since all the posts about them were in 2007

Did anyone bother to convert the myspace songs to mp3's?

I guess if you did turn up to this uni band comp and liked the band and bought the cd, you either:
1. Didn't take care of it and lost it or it got damaged, or;
2. Became a blasko fan afterwards and sure as hell aint gonna sell it.

But jeez, you would think at least ONE person would have a copy that might be selfless enough to say "I think I might share these songs with the lovely fans on the Blasko forum?" Maybe? Obviously not...

I guess the label wouldn't be interested in re-releasing it because for the 100 people that would be keen it wouldn't be worth the effort..
