I certainly did. Must be two or so years ago now, but I still remember what an emphatic performance she did. It was awesome.

When I saw her she was very unwell and couldn't stand up without crutches. She didn't really need to "perform" as such - her music said enough

I have been listening to the Leader Cheetah album, "The sunspot letters" and I am loving it.

Same as the new Phoenix album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, and that is brilliant as well.

I don't know if it's been mentioned on here, but Morphine is an absolutely genius band. I sadly just discovered them, but at least I did. So far my favorite tracks are Good, The Night, and Rope on Fire.

That's Rope on Fire, it's got a bit of a different sound to their other songs (the middle-eastern influence) but the main instrumentation is there so you can get a sort of feel for the band.

I just love the song 'I don't know' by Lisa Hannigan, it's such a fun and cheery song. It makes you want to dance. Particularly this version of it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WwaPv1rZiQ

I challenge anyone to watch that and not boogie even just a little ;)

I'm using it to get me through the boredom of packing up everything in my house.

Oh yeah, I saw him at Splendour! His cover of Billie Jean was so great. If you haven't already seen it... http://www.facebook.com/pages/Paul-Dempsey/18363743711#/video/video.php?v=113500891967&ref=mf
I'm joyfully and most bitter mad, I hope your heart is glad.

Just listened to Mumford and Sons' new album "Sigh No More". Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.

Highly recommended!

Tegan and Sara's "Sainthood" is also terrific. Easily one of 2009's best albums for me.

Dappled Cities - Saw them at Homebake yesterday as they were a surprise addition to the line up after Roland S. Howard pulled out.

Tell you the truth having dappled on the line up made my day, easily the best set of the festival.
